Nishanth Shri Shiva is an experienced international Director of Photography, Editor and Colorist. He works mainly between Los Angeles, Mumbai and Chennai. He directs experimental projects and works on his own screenplays. He is a proud alumni of the Gold Rising Program by Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences, which comprised of expert led panels, training and networking opportunities with Academy members and established professionals in the industry. He is currently under the mentorship of Oscar Winning Writer, Director Spike Jonze. In his professional career, he has worked as a Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Colorist and Photographer on varied Narrative Features, Shorts, Commercials, Music Videos, Documentaries, Corporate Branding and Digital Campaigns and experimental fine-art projects. His projects has won multiple awards in different categories in international festivals. He has worked with known brands such as Amazon, Asianet, Tag Jeans London among other various projects. He has a strong sense of visual narration, intrinsic understanding of colors and motivation to experiment with mixed media. He has full expertise with industry standard cameras, equipment and workflows. Also he has shot with 35mm and 16mm Film Cameras and knows to handle the on-set film process efficiently. He continues to work both in Los Angeles and India with feature films and web-series upcoming in his project roster.
